9-16-25 Reflect on a time when you discovered a new perspective that completely changed how you viewed a person, group, or place. How did your previous “single story” shape your thoughts or actions?

My father would tell me stories about him and his childhood and how it was growing up in Mexico. He had to work as soon as he could to earn his own money for food and clothes. He never went to school.  His stories made me realize I must be grateful for the life I was given because many have it worse and would kill for my closet.
